Local councils in England and Wales want a new 250m a year fund to be set up to help those areas struggling to cope with large numbers of migrants. Is your region affected?
A report commissioned by the Local Government Association (LGA) warns that public services in many places are under serious strain.
It highlights seven "key issues" including the impact on schools, child protection services, language barriers, housing, community relations, crime - often against migrants - and health.
The LGA also wants National Insurance numbers, GP registrations and schools census data used to help keep a better track of population changes.
