Women seeking an abortion should not need approval from two doctors according to a report by the Commons science and technology committee.
The report also says that the 24-week legal limit for an abortion in England, Wales and Scotland should remain. Although survival rates for babies born at 24 weeks had improved, they had not done so below that point.
However, Conservative MPs Nadine Dorries and Bob Spink have published their own separate report, claiming they had been misled on survival rates as well as the question of whether foetuses could feel pain.
Is the limit for abortion correct? Should the law be changed? Do you think there is a need for better sex education? Send us your comments and experiences.
