The Huckabee campaign set an October fundraising goal of $1,034,487 -- which was the campaign's total take in a disappointing third quarter. The campaign hit that goal with $1,064,271 raised by Oct. 31. Now the campaign has set a November goal of $2,067,521. While this is certainly about money, it's also about perception. Huckabee has been on the verge of the top tier since his second-place finish at Ames in early August. But for whatever reason the money just wasn't coming in. Things might have turned around, and donors are much more willing to write the checks when they see campaigns hit marks.
